My family had been saving for quite a long time to have our stairway redone. We wanted the dated 1990’s carpet removed, old railings replaced, and all wood flooring installed to match the rest of our home. Our experience in dealing with contractors over the last several years has been difficult to say the least, they don’t call back, they’re never on time or on schedule, and they often utilize unsupervised and unskilled help which results in rather shoddy workmanship. IT HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE WORKING WITH BARNETT HOME IMPROVEMENT of FREDERICKSBURG VA! I was immediately impressed by Mr. Barnett’s punctuality; he was always where he promised to be, exactly on time. He is always at the worksite, and treats EACH project as if he had to see and live with the results every day. We were COMPLETELY comfortable with the crew in our home while we were at work, and at the end of each day the work site was meticulously cleaned, and tools re-stowed. The final outcome was absolutely breathtaking, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how our new stairwell looks.

Ultimately Mr. Barnett’s talent, work ethic, honesty, consideration and VERY reasonable prices make him my family’s choice for home improvement support. Thank you so much David and Penny for a job well done!

Had David and his crew remodel two bathrooms in one of my rental properties so I was managing the project from out of town. I was apprehensive about the project, but David was awesome and super organized and responsive. The price was more than fair, and the work was top notch. Tile work looked great and his caulk and paint staff's attention to detail was on point. The existing plumbing was funky, but his crew sorted it out and made everything work. David is super easy to work with and is someone you can really trust a project to. Highly recommend. 5 stars because I can't give 7.

What a wonderful company. They came to my house and did a 500+ square foot tile job and two sets of steps.
